Twilight, Travel, and Treats

Reflections of a Twihard on all things twilight, travel, and treats.

Okay kids, a nice clean post following up the Twibite challenge. It left me feeling the need to shower and scrub hard.

I know most of you are thinking that Kristen is the cow. Actually I really am quite fond of KStew but I'll delve into that later. No fighting now okay?

The inspiration for this post came from my closet. My twilight buddy MK came back from her last trip to Whistler, B.C. with a surprise for me. I was thinking something Vancouver 2010 Olympics related or such - after all, I thought there is nothing related to the twilight saga up the ski hill. Well, I was so happy to be proven wrong.

I got a new T shirt

Okay, there is a place in this world where Edward Cullen is Edward Cowllen and Dr. McDreamy is Dr. MooDreamy. It's an ice cream store called "surprise, surprise" COWS (yes, click the link, they have an online store).

They have been doing pop culture parodies for years and it is always a highlight of a Whistler trip to walk in here and go through the stacks of T shirts and paraphernalia to feed my latest obsession.

They don't sell this mug anymore

Yes, it's true. Before Twilight and fanfic I used to actually watch TV.

There is no Cows store in Forks.
The closest one is Whistler, B.C. or online.

So next time you're having an off day and need a good laugh. Instead of a lusty lift like this

consider this

Oh now, off for some ice cream...

By the way, on an off twilight note, they have an awesome kids section. My son loves this one

That is TOO . . . or should I say MOO . . . funny!! How cool your friend thought to bring the t-shirt back for you. Like you, I used to watch a lot of TV and one of my favorite shows was Grey's Anatomy. I have no clue what's going with that show now. I should feel bad about that, but I don't.

I don't watch TV anymore except Lost and whatever my husb is watching in the background.
And you are right - I don't care that I'm missing any of it either.
I was so happy with my shirt. MK and I have been bff since age 13 so she is good at indulging me. Love it.

I love the Edward Cowllen. That is hilarious!

I still manage to watch all my TV I watched before just maybe not as intently as I used to. Of course I don't have children or a blog to take care of, so that probably makes some of the difference.

I can't wait to share this post with my friend who is going to Forks with me, she and her Mom love cows.

I think your friend would love it. You should totally send her to their online store. It's really funny. Their stuff has a limited edition type of feel and really changes season to season so if she wants something she should get it right away. Moo!
